No excuses! Start writing now.

Once in a while, writing seems hard. As we look to slack off, we imagine legends like Isaac Asimov looking askance at us. “But he’s a born writer,” we mumble.

That excuse is gone for good. Here’s what one of the world’s very best authors had to say.

It’s none of their business that you have to learn to write. Let them think you were born that way.

Ernest Hemingway

If Hemingway wasn’t a born writer – well, I guess no one was.

We can’t even stall, saying we are waiting for inspiration. Here’s the guru of Self Publishing (with more than 130 books to his credit) talking:

If you wait for inspiration to write; you’re not a writer, you’re a waiter.

San Poynter

I guess it’s time to put our fingers to the keyboard and start typing. No more excuses!
